I just got a 150 DPI monitor, and now my Windows 11 font sizes are all over the map. For example, below is a snapshot of an Outlook dialog box on top of the regular Outlook menus.
Apparently the issue is not just with fonts but also user interface elements like buttons.
I tried reinstalling programs and logging out, but it still looks as shown above. Tried increasing both overall DPI scaling and systemwide text size, but these just seem to increase the range of font sizes.
Can Windows handle >100 DPI monitors, or should I go back to 100 DPI?
Update
Incremental improvements: change display setting from "Custom Scaling" to "Scale". Change from Chrome to Edge. It's still not as consistent as it was when I had a 100 DPI monitor though.
