My Microsoft 365 installation just got updated to use the new Aptos fonts. This is not a question about the merits or lack thereof of Aptos. Excel is now using Aptos Narrow (11 pt) as its default font.
Since that happened, I've seen a strange issue:When I double click on a cell to edit it in place, the font in the cell slightly changes. The size changes, the spacing/kerning becomes funky, and it just looks weird. After editing is done the cell displays normally. This only appears to happen when the cell is formatted with the default Aptos Narrow. I tried regular Aptos, Calibri, and some fancier fonts and none of them have that issue; the text format in the cell remains consistent while editing in the cell.
Looking for ideas/suggestions on how to fix this! (Ideally without reverting all the default templates to Calibri. As much as I would like to do that, this is a work computer and I don't have control over updates and the like.)
